The definition of “connect” is to bring together so that a real link is established. We would love to connect you to God and our church. Through our experiences, we have found the best way to do that is by participating in Church Services, attending Discipleship Classes, and learning the Bible in a Personal Bible Study taught by a qualified teacher.

We believe church attendance is vital to maintaining a Christian life. Some of the benefits include: 1) Encouragement from fellowship with other believers; 2) Participation in group worship and prayer; 3) Opportunities to receive Bible teaching and preaching; 4) Encouragement and guidance in times of need; 5) God’s involvement and direction in our lives. .

Hebrews 10:24, 25 - And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

We understand there are times when things come up, such as sickness or work schedules, but we all should make it a priority and a goal to be in church every time the doors are open to be blessed ourselves and to bless others. Great things happen at church! Lives are changed!

We believe that one of the most effective ways to connect you to God, His Word, and His church is by completing a personal Bible study. Qualified teachers at POG can help you learn what the Lord has for you in His Word. Two popular studies we find are a 12-week study called Exploring God’s Word that covers the major themes of the Bible and a 1.5 hour study called Into His Marvelous Light for our personal salvation and relationship with God. These are shared with you in the privacy of your own home, someone else’s home or at the church. In these you can ask questions and share ideas.
